From either a short swinging torch to a full Contact-Staff with two tanks, the Lycoblaster adapts quickly and easily to your performance.

The massive aluminium-tank / bottle is designed for optimal efficiency when burning Lycopodium, maximizing burn time and delivering the breathtaking effect you expect from a classic Lycopodium torch.

Each tank provides a capacity of 1000 ml, which corresponds to about 600g of heavy or 300g of light lycopodium. The recommended filling volume is between ½ and 2/3 of the tank, depending on the desired duration of your performance.

The bottles perforated brass lid ensures even Lycopodium discharge, optimal distribution in the air with minimal side scattering, and can be easily unscrewed for refilling the tank (we recommend a small funnel for refilling). A 50mm wick just beneath the outlet of the bottle ignites the spreading Lycopodium.

The Lycoblaster bottle can be easily and securely mounted onto a variety of handles using a threaded connection, allowing you to customize it to suit your performance or individual playing style.
We currently have 4 different handles available:

• Handle 1: Swing Handle
A 23.5 cm long, silicone-coated aluminum rod with a 40mm wooden ball / swinging knob at the end turns your Lycoblaster into a classic yet infernal swinging torch.

• Handle 2: Short Staff Handle
A 61cm aluminum rod with soft EPDM grip tape and a rubber grip at the end. With the tank attached, it reaches a total length of 92cm and offers a similar play style to the VulCane or even Double Staffs when used in pairs.

• Handle 3: Long Staff Handle
With the grip-taped aluminum rod at a length of 151cm (182cm with tank), the Lycoblaster becomes a Contact Staff. The lower end is equipped with a rubber grip and steel weight to allow sufficient momentum for all common Contact Moves.

• Handle 4: Long Staff Handle (double-sided)
Basically the same as the Long Staff Handle, but with threaded mounts on both ends to attach two Lycoblasters. The total length extends to 213cm, providing ample safety distance from the hellfire when performing contact-staff moves.

Thanks to the modular concept, you can customize your Lycoblaster in one or multiple configurations by simply adding all the desired individual components to the cart below.
